Biography
I joined UT Austin in Spring 2026. I was previously a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins University (JHU). I was previously a member at the Institute of Advanced Study (IAS). I completed my PhD at the center for cosmology and particle physics (CCPP) at New York University (NYU) in 2021 and also closely worked with the CCA cosmology group.
Research
I'm interested in a broad range of topics spanning gravitational-wave data analysis, AI/ML, cosmology and astroparticle physics. I'm currently working on searching for compact object mergers in the public LVK gravitational-wave data, and also on applications of (interpretable) machine learning tools in various areas of astrophysics. In the past, I've worked on cosmological pipelines of spectroscopic galaxy surveys and on gastrophysics studies targeted towards upcoming CMB-SZ surveys. I've also worked on dark matter phenomenology with low-mass pristine gas-rich dwarf galaxies which are located outside the virial radius of their host. Check out my research page for more info.
