Biography
Hsin-Yu Chen is a member of the LIGO scientific collaboration, the Dark Energy Survey-Gravitational Wave working group to hunt for the electromagnetic counterparts of gravitational-wave signals and The University of Texas at Austin Weinberg Institute and Center for Gravitational Physics. Prior to her arrival on the faculty at UT Austin, Chen served as both a NASA Einstein-MIT Kavli Institute Fellow and a Black Hole Initiative Fellow at Harvard University.
Research
Hsin-Yu Chen studies gravitational waves, multi-messenger astrophysics, black holes and neutron stars.
