Physics Education Forum

For this forum, we welcome Dr. Jeremy Morton and Jack Cameron from ExpertTA who are eager to share how their system incorporates lessons from disciplinary education research in supporting and assessing student learning. The ExpertTA system aims to enhance physics education by providing an intuitive online homework and tutorial platform the emphasizes problem-solving, partial credit grading, and academic integrity. It includes making quality and customizable learning resources more accessible to instructors to improve student engagement and instructional flexibility. In addition to other features, they will also share how they have been incorporating AI chat into their system.

This forum may be of particular interest to graduate students, post-doctoral researchers, and others looking at faculty or instructional positions in their future to become familiar with the capabilities of systems beyond what is commonly used here on campus.
