Gordon Elected Fellow of the American Physical Society

Vernita Gordon, associate professor of physics, has been named a fellow of the American Physical Society. Recognized for her work on bacterial biofilms and their immune system interactions, Gordon's research offers new ways to tackle antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The APS Fellowship honors top members annually, with less than 0.5% selected each year.
